Dorsky Museum to host evening of fine wine and art
Lovers of art and fine wine alike will be catered for at an upcoming event at the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art at the State University of New York at New Paltz.
An evening planned for June 12th will give attendees a taste of vintage ports, hors-d'oeuvres from the Depuy Canal House, gourmet cheeses and of course fine art, the Poughkeepsie Journal reports.
At $100 (£70) per ticket per person, the event is likely to be an exclusive one, although visitors will also have a chance to bid for a range of fine wines including chateau Montrose 1990 and 1989 and Graham's vintage port 1985.
Also featured at the event will be talks from Steven Kolpan, professor of wine studies at the Culinary Institute of America, as well as Kevin Zraly, founder of the Windows on the World Wine School.
Proceeds from the evening, which will be held in the Alice and Horace Chandler Gallery, will go towards funding the museum.
