Restaurant Petrus in Hong Kong is hosting three events to tickle the taste buds of wine lovers in the weeks to come.
Today (February 24th), the general manager of Chateau Margaux, Paul Pontcallier, is hosting a wine dinner at the restaurant where guests will get a closer look at some of the estate's top vintages.
At HK$8,8000 (£700) a head, the event is likely to attract only the wealthiest of Hong Kong's wine fans.
On March 1st, Chateau Ducru-Beaucaillou owner Bruno Eugene Borie will preside over a vertical tasting of wine and black truffles at Restaurant Petrus, and until March 5th a series of meals will be served by Parisian chef Jerome Banctel.
The chef will prepare contemporary lunches and dinners using meat and poultry selected by celebrity butcher Hugo Desnoyer.
Based at the Island Shangri-La in Hong Kong, Restaurant Petrus has achieved two Michelin stars and has one of the most extensive wine lists on the Asian continent.
