Oenophiles keen to explore the wines of Chateauneuf-du-Pape may wish to look in on the Ogier vineyard.
The estate is celebrating its 150th anniversary and to mark the occasion it has opened a new visitor centre at its cellars, notes the Drinks Business.
Guests will first be given information on the terroir of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, before being given a tour of the 300 metres of cellars at the vineyard.
Visitors will then be taken to a tasting room, where they can try the latest Ogier wines with expert guidance while exploring the history of Chateauneuf-du-Pape in the reading room.
Ogier is also running a tutorial tasting on the "Art of Ageing", where drinkers can try four Cotes du Rhone wines that have been aged differently.
The 2010 vintage from Chateauneuf-du-Pape is attracting some interest due to its high quality.
Daniel Coulon, the owner of Domaine de Beaurenard in Chateauneuf-du-Pape recently said he was finding it difficult to pick a favourite between the latest bottles and the highly-rated 2009 vintage.
