Chateau Latour has released its en primeur 2010 wine in a single allocation, becoming the last of the First Growths to release the vintage.
According to sources cited by Decanter, it looks likely to be the most expensive of the First Growths and has released a relatively small amount of wine, 35 per cent less than it did last year.
Meanwhile, Chateau Cheval Blanc and Chateau Ausone have also released their 2010 wine. Cheval Blanc is now available from FINE+RARE at £4,850 for a six-bottle lot, while Ausone can be found at £3,600 for three bottles.
Decanter's James Lawther MW described the Cheval Blanc as "sublime" and "seamless", as well as praising the ageing potential of Chateau Ausone 2010. Both wines received five-star ratings.
It follows the release last week of the 2010 vintage of Chateau Lafite Rothschild, Chateau Figeac and La Mission Haut Brion, the celebrated second wine of Chateau Haut Brion.
