Wine lovers who know their Chateau Latour from their Chateau Margaux may wish to take part in a charity fundraising event next month.
Action Aid will be hosting celebrity Call My Wine Bluff for the third successive year on November 18th, pitting the palates of experts in the audience against a panel of celebrities who will try to bluff and deceive at every turn, Decanter magazine reports.
Star names at this year's event include newsreader Michael Buerk, comedian Andy Parsons and writer/comediennes Arabella Weir and Lucy Porter.
With a silent auction to accompany the show, last year the event raised more than £160,000 to support international development work for poor and vulnerable people around the world, the publication notes.
Wine lovers can also indulge their passion while supporting a worthy cause through the Fine Wine Fair's silent auction in aid of Help for Heroes.
Included in the sale are Methuselahs of Moet & Chandon NV, signed by England cricket captain Andrew Strauss.
