Wine enthusiasts have been invited to take a trip through Burgundy to learn about the region's winemaking history.
The Burgundy and Province River Cruise takes oenophiles along the Saone and Rhone Rivers, taking in the legendary Burgundy vineyards that line the banks.
On board, a "distinguished wine authority" will educate travellers on how various grapes are cultivated, and how they are blended to create fine Burgundy wine.
Passengers will also get the chance to attend a Beaujolais wine tasting and learn about wine pairing at a gala dinner.
A selection of the region's best bottles is provided on the trip, which winds through scenic spots for 11 days before going on to Paris.
The trip is likely to attract a great deal of interest from British wine enthusiasts, considering research from the Burgundy Wine Board and the Hospices de Beaune which recently revealed that the UK consumes double the amount of exported Burgundy than any other country.
