An upcoming event in Singapore will focus on Asia's burgeoning passion for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines, particularly Burgundies such as Domaine de la Romanee-Conti.
The event, Burghound in Asia, will be held at the St Regis Singapore Hotel between April 8th and the 10th, and includes a master class hosted by wine writer Allen Meadows where Burgundy will be paired with fine Asian cuisine.
This will be followed by a chance for wine lovers to take part in a blind Pinot Noir tasting, where Domaine de la Romanee-Conti will feature alongside four other world benchmark wines made from the grape varietal.
On April 9th, visitors can attend two exclusive master classes, again conducted by Mr Meadows, on Domaine Ponsot, Domaine Leflaive, Domaine Pierre Morey and Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair.
Auction house Spectrum recently announced that it will hold its largest-ever live auction in Hong Kong this month, featuring numerous vintages of Chateau Lafite Rothschild.
