Wine magazine Decanter is to host a masterclass of all five Bordeaux first growths in London, which will involve a tasting of two wines from each property.
Directors of the chateaux - Lafite-Rothschild, Margaux, Latour, Mouton-Rothschild and Haut-Brion - will be in attendance at the Landmark Hotel in November, marking the first time all five have come together on a podium.
"We are thrilled to be able to give wine lovers the opportunity to hear from the men responsible for these legendary wines," said Sarah Kemp, publishing director of Decanter.
"It is very exciting for us to be able to host this historic tasting in London, home to so many Bordeaux lovers."
The Decanter Fine Wine Encounter will also feature masterclasses involving chateau La Mission Haut-Brion and California's Opus One.
Decanter also stages Regional Fine Wine Encounters at the Landmark in February and May, which focus on a particular area such as Burgundy or California.
