Pierre Bouree

Domaine Pierre Bouree , based in Gevrey Chambertin, has been around since 1864 and is now managed by the fourth generation of the family. Very traditional techniques are used here including the crushing of grapes in vats by foot. Wine is then stored in new oak barrels for a maximum of two years. White wines go through lees stirring and once in cask, these are rolled to get depth of flavour over a year to 16 months. They have taken time to create a library stock year on year.
